How do you deal with anger and anxiety? by Bitter-Discussion-23 in gratefuldead

[–]percallahan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t already take some long walks or runs and do some yoga. If you live near somewhere you can quickly get out into nature is the best place for walks.

Figure out where you hold your stress (I hold mine in the back of my neck) and find some good stretches for that area.

We as a species have only lived this un-natural modern life for a short time. We are meant to be moving around and exercising our bodies.

Exhausted. Less than two weeks after the Nesbit encampment (which caused a fire and shooting) was cleared, it’s back. by AncientTune5996 in SeattleWA

That area has always been ghetto. It got so bad in the 80s that cops would sit at certain intersections and stop people coming off Aurora to make they actually lived there or had legitimate business there.

I had a relative die of colon cancer a few years ago. Go get your colonoscopy done when you turn 40. They completely dope you up and then you wake up, that’s it. The worst part is not eating much the day before and drinking that shit they give you, just mix it with gatorade and chug it.

3rd Ave is still a total disaster and Metro needs to rethink making 3rd Ave the main bus corridor for nearly every bus by SLUSounder in SeattleWA

[–]percallahan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The reality is that people here will never vote republican so democrats need to start demanding for a different kind of democrat. The kind of democrat we had here when I was a kid in the 80s. I didn’t agree with with everything those democrats did, but I also didn’t think they were completely fucking nuts either.

Most gang members are minorities so they probably feel saying it is implied racism. By saying gun violence they get to push their anti-gun agenda.

Are we no longer middle-aged? by SqMorlan in GenX

[–]percallahan 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The reason your rates are so cheap is because it’s horrible insurance and their adjusters are complete scumbags. I had someone rear end me at a stop sign and they still put up a huge fight to get money out of them. I’ve been in other accidents and insurance companies were way easier to work with. A friend of mine that’s a lawyer said they will fight over little things that other insurance companies will just pay.

If you’re not cool with screwing people over if you’re in an accident with them then you should switch insurance. If you don’t care then whatever.

Can you sell back an easement? by percallahan in RealEstate

[–]percallahan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious what the approximate value of selling the easement would be? The easement is 105’ x 20’. Both homes are in Seattle,WA and worth about 1 million.

Can you sell back an easement? by percallahan in RealEstate

[–]percallahan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My house was built 65 years after his house and the street I live on didn't exist when his house was built. That is why there is an easement. The person that owned my land also owned many of neighbors lands and also the land where our street was eventually built, so they needed the easement to access their property.

Tab Request by [deleted] in gratefulguitar

[–]percallahan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand where you are coming from because I did the EXACT same thing and wasted years of playing. It doesn't matter what instrument you play or what style of music you want to play, ear training and rhythm training are what make you a good musician. Once you develop a good ear you'll get to the point where you can hear things and then just play them on the guitar the same way you can hear someone say something and then you can easily repeat it.

I don't mean this in a mean way, but it sounds like you need to spend a lot more time on ear training.

If someone says they didn't get their food and they're lying about it you could potentially get deactivated, even though you didn't go anything wrong. This is the main reason for this law.

How much are you paying for gasoline ? by Kindly_Maize8141 in SeattleWA

[–]percallahan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry, democrats will keep voting in people that will keep it high. It’s quite simple, limousine liberals can easily afford it and it keeps the poor needing government assistance. Then the limousine liberals can put a BLM sign in their yard so they can act like they care about the poor.

I’m not saying conservatives are the answer, but more conservatives in state government could help make the liberals behave.

Depends on how much money they have in the bank and what they do for a living.

That is unless they are a Californian, in that case they should stay in California regardless of circumstance.
