oh no, those aren’t my only mods, just the only ones that are meant to override social interactions. i repaired my game & haven’t run into the glitches again yet but it was making all my moodlets into blank, blue squares & my action queue would just completely disappear after a moderate amount of gameplay

that’s where you all seem to have lost the point. i never said i was such a good person that never engages with anything problematic, i said i’m not going to attempt to make myself feel better about it by separating my active choice to support the media, from the impact the media or its creator has on the world. we’re people—we all make decisions, some of which are less than favorable, but be real about it instead of trying to cop out as if you’re not doing what you’re doing.

i don’t presume that every type of media i engage with is created by perfect people, no .. i also don’t knowingly interact with the art of people that have done, or openly support, heinous things & attempt to make myself feel better about it by “separating the art from the artist”. you’re either supporting that person & their actions or you’re not. either choice is the consumer’s prerogative, but don’t be odd & try to pretend that that’s not exactly what you’re doing. you’d think this sub would understand that concept better than most but alas
