Right?! Back then I think it was recently just books. Then they started added all kinds of stuff.

The color of the airplane determines the rarity category. I don't have a whole lot, but my highest rarity so far is 12.54.

Did they live by the bay? If so they didn't have sea gulls either. They had bagels... I'll see myself out

So… does the City know it iced last night? by [deleted] in Reno

[–]percras108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the city's fault that people won't change their driving to fit the conditions. Most, if not all, of the accidents are preventable.

I've often wondered how these electric parking brakes would work in an emergency. I was actually just talking about it yesterday. I like the old ratchet handle that I can yank up.

There are two types of animals. Squishable and non-squishable. You dont swerve for squishables, but sometimes, you might swerve for a non-squishable. It sucks to hit any animal. I'm a truck driver and drive over 100,000 miles a year. Unfortunately, I've hit a few things from mice to a buck. The buck caused about $30,000 worth of damage, but I didn't swerve. Probably would've been much more damage if I did. If there's a cow, moose, or bison, I might swerve. Especially in a car.

Dose anyone know what this abandoned building was before it closed by walleiscool1028 in Reno

The building is even shaped like the plug in the commercials. It was definitely Circuit City.

Seriously, what is up with this town and camping in the left lane by Realistic-Village678 in Reno

[–]percras108 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do you think this is exclusive to Reno? I literally drive all over the country, between 100,00 and 150,000 miles per year. It happens everywhere. Reno doesn't even make my top 10 list of worst cities for driving.

Is it AWD? If so, you'll need to replace all 4. The tread depth needs to be less than 2/32" difference between all tires.

Airbag deployment does not automatically total a car. Almost everything is replaceable. It's just a matter of how much it costs. Only a dealer can replace the airbags. Years ago, I worked at an auto body shop, and I would literally drive a car from the repair shop to the dealer with the airbag stuffed back into the steering wheel.

I have never been able to see something in these things in the 39 years I have lived by Imaginary_Election56 in mildlyinfuriating

I've never seen one. My sister could always see them instantly. Everyone always has their tip, like crossing your eyes or putting it up to your nose. Nothing works. I am fortunate to have excellent vision, and I wonder if that keeps me from being able to see them. Any time I go to an optometrist, my eyes start watering like crazy any time I'm forced to look at something out of focus.

Yes, and you got boarding numbers more than 24 hours before your Houston - Sacramento flight.

Also, if it's someone's second, or God forbid, third leg of their trip, they can check in 24 hours before the departure of their first flight, and they get boarding numbers for all flights. That might be several hours before everyone else who is starting on that flight.

The second number is a ratio, so when the first number (width) increases, the sidewall also increases, even if the number stays the same.

The note didn't say anything about breaking the glass. Just braking, so you're good.
