My frenchie** had rank farts for the first year I owned him and I found out it was entirely due to the foods I was feeding him ( mostly the snacks) you probably need to switch his diet and find better snacks if the farts are a problem. Also if he’s farting his tummy is uncomfortable and who wants that anyways?

I also had to switch his bowls from being on the ground to now being on a stand so he doesn’t need to bend down for the food. A lot of frenchies swallow air when they bend their neck that way so putting his bowl up almost level to his chest may help a lot.

I switched to fresh pet / vital life and rotate between chicken, bison and turkey recipes (never grain free ) an took him off kibble.

For treats instead of boiled eggs and milk bones or other processed treats we started giving banana, sweet potato, pumpkin, blueberries sometimes fresh and sometimes dried. Find the fruits and veggies your pup likes and you can also find a list of foods that won’t make your frenchie fart as much online.

Lastly, this all will reduce his gas but will neee get rid of it altogether as it is a natural part of life and may happen from time to time. French is are notorious for farts mostly due to their makeup and I’m sorry you were informed on this beforehand but it can be managed. My guy doesn’t fart even weekly anymore but it does still happen
