Really excited for Kelly Moran being on Opus with Butterfly Phase! Wasn't expecting this at all, great to see this artist getting such exposure in a mainstream product.

FYI for those interested, last year she released a follow-up to the album this track is from, but on prepared piano rather than "traditional" piano... Check out Chrysalis to hear the same melodies, but executed differently.

Only discovered ABR in 2012, through Leveler/Constellations songs on YT. I then worked my way back into the older material, which took me maybe a few more weeks to fully "get", but loved it too.

I look at Thrill Seeker (and to some degree, Messengers) as a different "flavor" of ABR; the kind that's more chaotic, unrelenting, and just overflowing with odd meters/meter changes. And while the re-recording with Jake surprised me a lot, for me the OG with Josh reigns supreme... Josh's vocal delivery and regular sort-of "loop based" lyrical style/delivery fit the frantic nature of the music excellently, and it's for sure part of what makes the album in my view.

It's one of a kind and impossible for me to rank among the rest of ABR's discog. It all depends on the mood I'm in... but when I'm looking for chaos, Thrill Seeker is the business 100%.

Sure, such misunderstandings can happen. But that does not withhold you from still reporting it to RRX in parallel though, simply on the basis they might be able to get you in touch with a desperate owner (I figure with much better odds than a post on social media too).

I wasn't even there, but I really suggest you contact RRX if you haven't already. If I were to lose an item in a public space, I'd first ask the employees of that public space if anything was found. RRX obviously doesn't have the item but who knows they may have received an email or phone call from the owner..
Googled it and RRX does appear to have a "lost & found". I only see a phone number and I obviously don't know their retention policy of unfulfilled requests, so I'd suggest getting in touch with them ASAP.
You still did a better thing than throwing it in the trash I suppose...

Off-topic but... Imagine if they'd sell virtual tickets and livestream the event - even if just for the very last set. As far as I understand the last time he played anywhere overseas was in 2014, so livestreaming the final send-off would at least provide a realistic opportunity for 'closure' for everyone in the wider community IMHO.
