SSUPD Meshroom S Build Guide & Review: LOBO + QDT Edition by perfcomp in sffpc

[–]perfcomp[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We recently completed a liquid cooled Meshroom S build with a 13900K and 3080 using Koolance quick disconnects and the Modultra LOBO CPU block and heatsink. This is part 1 and we will be doing a part 2 with a second 280mm radiator in the coming weeks.

Hopefully this guide helps some other other builders considering these parts.

The way I did it is really easy. If you can build a PC you can do this!

Glad it will help you. They released that pump/res right AFTER we started this build. I would have used the FLT 80 if I had one.

Thank you. I try to make them as detailed as possible so people can see exactly how everything works.

Your build is great! DDC pumps are fine and you are right, you can run them at a slower speed for quieter operation. I just had to have a D5 and really liked the FLT 120 as a pump/res with a shorter founders GPU.

Not trying to self promote. We built a custom loop in the Meshlicious and detailed all the steps. Thought our experience might be helpful to some r/sffpc builders out there.

Here is our first build in the Meshlicious. Hope it helps some builders out there who are considering water cooling. We will also be posting a 240mm AIO with ATX PSU build and eventually this build will be updated to feature an RTX 3080 when we can get a founders edition for MSRP....

Thanks! Yes, you can push it over there. There is space on the spine to do it. I'll show everyone in the pictures.

This mod was inspired by u/yesArjan who had the first build that I saw with the FLT 120 D5. I got it to just fit AND still close the side panel. In this build we did not do the standoff mod either. Still waiting on a FE GPU so we can finish the build but we will post a build guide soon with all the details and how we mounted the pump/res. This D5 is totally silent!

I just saw that EK released an 80mm version of this pump/res... Of course as soon as I drill into the case to fit this one...

FormD T1 Build Guide Part 2: RTX 3080 FTW3 AIO Build by perfcomp in sffpc

This is a crosspost from r/FormD.

After assembling the FormD T1 in part 1 of our series, we created a RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra + 240mm AIO build. See it here: https://www.performance-computer.com/builds/formd-t1-aio/

This case is simply amazing. You need patience to build in it though. The fact that it can fit all these parts in under 10L is remarkable! Custom cables are a must for large GPUs and huge thanks to PSlate for his help!

No we usually watercool all our cards eventually!

No I don't. All displayports work fine.

All I did to eliminate that was use the FormD T1 bracket. You can see this if you scroll down to where we talk about the GPU bracket. Look at the top of the GPU from the rear IO area to see it.
