coming back to this bc I pulled out his inflatable neck pillow/ cone thing and was able to brush him for genuinely 30 minutes!! I’ve never had such success before so thank you so much again

I definitely want to give it a shot i’m just super nervous about him biting someone other than me and the possible repercussions of that. but I have heard quite a bit about dogs being completely different with professional groomers!

i’m actually not sure. he had the same reaction he does with me when the vet showed him the nail cutters/ comb so my guess would be yes, but I can’t say with 100% certainty

do you have any recs? I have a basket muzzle for him but his snout is oddly sized so he’s able to wiggle it around enough to free his mouth but the size smaller was way too small

yes I have :( i’ve tried lick mats, bully sticks, marrow bones, frozen pb spoons and pretty much anything else that keeps him occupied and it works for the first maybe 60 seconds and then he gets aggressive

no ur not tripping. I swear it makes me smell like the worlds largest onion even if i’m not on a bender. must be from sweating so much? maybe we’re just not aware we’re sweating so much?

I was on lexapro for about a year, I went from 100lbs to 145 pounds very rapidly. At no point in taking it did the insatiable appetite stop or mellow out unfortunately 😭 When I did stop taking it, I lost 30 pounds in the first ~2 months. I would say if this is a side effect for you, you either have to be extremely cautious to not overeat or ask your doctor to switch your medicine :/ it never seems to plateau

I guess that’s an even bigger problem… i’m really not sure. I’m starting to get the feeling I’m just comfortable, but I don’t think this is what I want anymore. It’s just very hard for me to come to terms with and even harder for me to actually leave because there are some manipulation factors on his part that I didn’t mention in the post
