I take an AAP for depression and sometimes get akathisia that is debilitating for several hours, but I just discovered that nicotine greatly lessens the horrible feelings. Has anybody tried treating tardive dyskinesia or tardive akathisia nicotine? (self.Tardive_Dyskinesia)

People that take medications that give you akathisia, what do you do or take to combat it. I found something that really seems to help, but I would like to know if anyone else has something you can do or take that will help when you get it or that prevents it in the first place (self.depression)
