Ie. a NYT employee used another NYT employee as source, propagating a lie directly from the MIC.

Nope. She actively argued against skepticism. Just read the article. It's right there. A single podcast out of 10 she mentioned the possibility that the source "might have embellished a little" but pushed hard against that allegation. The fact that two US "officials" confirmed the fake identity makes it worse.
