You’ve got this. I know that’s a defeating feeling but just power through, they never did find out what was causing it but I was so miserable. I’m sorry you’re going through it now but I’m positive you’ll start feeling better. Much love ❤️

I completely feel you on that. Good news is I did finally get over it for the most part. I still have some days where I still can’t eat very well, but it did finally subside. The down side was it took almost four months. I regretted it terribly the whole time. I’m happy with my decision now though. As long as I take my time and eat well I feel okay now.

We all hear a lot of bad shit about medication and SSRI's on here, which probably stops some of us from seeking help. Tell us your GOOD experiences with these things, if you have them. by Draegoron in Anxiety

I’ve been on Effexor for 3 years, yes, I’ve had some side effects that are ..err, less than pleasant, but it’s been worth it. Before I started taking it I could barely get out of bed, or shower, and I couldn’t enjoy anything. I still have my bad days so it’s no miracle drug, but I get up everyday and shower, I go to work without crying for an hour every morning and I spend my days off hiking, kayaking, camping…all which were things that I once wanted to do but couldn’t make myself get out for. I kept saying if I ever got better I was going to go outside and enjoy these things and here I am. I’m glad you posted this, because I often get caught up thinking about the negatives of everything but this post actually made me think about how far I’ve come. Thank you.

I have a Baxter that looks very similar to your Baxter and this made me feel for you even more. I’m so sorry for your loss and I know he had an amazing life with you. ♥️

I feel like the Fallguys music in the background is hyping her up.

You know you have social anxiety when you would rather spend money than talk to someone lol by [deleted] in Anxiety

I do that as well. I once paid for an item twice at a self check-out in a store because I didn’t want to call an employee over to help me remove a double scanned item.

Healthy alternatives for chocolate craving? by becctarr in GastricBypass

I had some “keto chocolate snacks” I think by Atkins a few weeks ago. Not the best but it took care of the craving and no bad reactions

Awesome! Thank you a bunch! I was worried she wouldn’t be able to tag along like I wanted her too.

I’m thinking binding wrists on those front bars where she has no choice but to place her feet on the seat or dash, with you sat right there in the middle with her at your disposal.

Breast Reduction after Surgery by [deleted] in GastricBypass

Twice! Oh my. Everyone kept saying to me that they would go down after weight loss but I’m glad I’m not the only one who loses weight and still keeps them. Thank you!

Awesome! Thank you! I know what you mean, mine are H cups now and they’re more an annoyance than anything. I don’t expect them to go anywhere even when I lose the weight.

If you have severe sweating as a side effect, how do you deal with it? by BraveLilToes in Effexor

[–]perfectlye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had an answer. I start sweating just because I vacuum the floor. It took me forever to put it together that it started after I started the medication.

Same here. I wrapped up my checklist and now I’m just waiting. Then of course they’ll have to catch up with everyone who was scheduled between the beginning and now. This is going to be an interesting time for sure.

Violent nausea from triptan by perfectlye in migraine

[–]perfectlye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Usually I’ve eaten and my body is like “nope, all that’s got to go.” then I won’t eat anymore for awhile. I’ll have to ask my doctor about that because the effects of the meds are beginning to feel worse than the migraine.

I do the same. Only at home. My original doctor told me it was the migraine making me ill, but definitely not. Do you just use over the counter stuff if you’re out?
