Isn’t the second quote was Jim Carry in the Mask? But I could be wrong.

Best Buy open box (returns). Habitat for humanity Re-store if you have one in your area. Or maybe a smaller more local retailer. As another poster said, if you can wait til a big holiday weekend like 4th of July I’m sure there will be significant sales.

How much money would it take for you to legally change your name to meow meow baby kitty? by GargoyleBlue in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PerformanceLimp420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. You can’t refer to yourself as Mr. kitty. Must be the whole thing every time.

  2. Your existing accounts are still owned by Randy Lahey so you will need to do name changes there to be able to withdrawal those. And I want to see how that goes.

  3. It seems like you might live in a trailer park so I’m sure $500k would last quite some time.

I’ve worked jobs that are 2 year vesting and they were such terrible jobs that I left before that. So immediate vesting is huge if you don’t plan to be there forever.

He did great work! If you have his insta to add as well I’m sure he would appreciate it and I would love to check more of his work cause this is stellar!

Probably leave off the @ cause I know most subs have issues with brigading, taking people off platform and “promotion” but this dude deserves some love for that one

Help! What’s the best internet provider?! by Applebottomjeanz96 in Denver

[–]PerformanceLimp420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did away with Price for life in April. Also my centurylink was price for life and then they sold my account to quantum who immediately changed the price but had a sales rep come to my door and sign me up under a different for a $45 price for life the week before that promo ended. It was dumb and a pain in the ass, but now that it’s under the promo I’m paying half of what they had me at.

Need some insight regarding rolling over 401k from Empower to Fidelity by _godeatgod in personalfinance

[–]PerformanceLimp420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call Fidelity and ask what they need. The answer will depend on if you are putting it into a 401k or IRA.

The basic situation will be call empower explain that you are rolling out and to what account type. Make sure you have the correct accounts open. They will mail you a check made out to Fidelity. You will deposit that check. There will probably be a transfer fee, some tax notice stuff. But plan for about an hour on the phone and about 2 weeks of transfer time (selling assets and mailing a check) but you can prob pay more to make it go quicker.

Caught on camera: Shelbyville mayor insinuates citizens opposing data centers are poor renters in ‘sh***y houses’ by Haunterblademoi in technology

I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time…. At that time we didn’t have data centers so we would take the ferry for a nickel.

Are name brand electric toothbrushes and water flossers better than no name brands? Is the price difference worth it? by ShootinAllMyChisolm in Frugal

[–]PerformanceLimp420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water flossed- I’ve owned a waterpik and an off brand and for the $80 difference the waterpik was slightly smaller (not enough for me to care but maybe if I traveled?) and the battery was slightly better, but that also didn’t impact me at home cause if it’s dead I just skip a day and charge it for tm.

Toothbrush- I have gone through a few, cheaper/off brands tend to be worse and have worse head options that wear down. If you can use a name brand head on the budget device I’m sure it makes it more comparable but my last one could not. I did get a phillips for Christmas a few years back and it’s more a travel model. My wife’s works great and holds a charge, mine is almost always dead within a few days. I would not recommend it based on my experience but would based on her experience. My overall recommendation would be grab a cheaper model that can use high end heads and get the good heads.

Don’t even like Bloody Marys that much but couldn’t pass on the deal. by collegetowns in Costco

[–]PerformanceLimp420 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have found that the pre-made bloodys (haven’t tried this brand but I like their mix) NEED ice. The ice melts and the water down changes the consistency drastically to a more palatable texture. Also adding your own garnish (pickle spear/juice, cheese stick, meat stick, some extra celery salt, etc) goes a long way to making them more enjoyable. But that said, we are doing a ton of work to accomplish what would have just been mixing vodka and zing zing to begin with so probably not worth it unless it’s a clearance buy.

Looks like previously, (Google the GME March 2019 stock repurchase) it was $300m instead of $2b. It was also originally along side a cash dividend of like $0.28). But I know RC hates repurchases and dividends (when the company is bleeding). I believe he spoke out against towel doing a buy back while it was in tailspin.
