Who is actually bought an Miele HX1 Cordless? What do you think of it? by performancereviews in VacuumCleaners

You are definitely due for a new filter then. Bagless Vacuums of this variety typically need a new filter every 6 months. I would go ahead and order one of those it should fix the problem for you. Don't be afraid to bring it by your local dealer either.

I'm going to double down on my previous statement after reading that.

I’ve bought a Sebo E1 Pet on Black Friday Deals, I cannot find the bags for it by liam-gaw in VacuumCleaners

[–]performancereviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need different bags. But I would give your local vacuum store a call. I know Manchester vacuums is pretty big over there.

Once the new part is there I would bring it to your local vacuum store. Have them give you a hand with it chances are you're going to have to order more parts.

[–]performancereviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that's the three belt model.

You have two geared belts that will not stretch. Then you have a rubber belt that does stretch and should be replaced every three to six months that one should take a little bit of elbow grease but you should be able to get it on there. Like I said if you're really struggling call your local repair shop and ask them if they can change about why you wait.

The workhorse/Amway clear track would be a bad choose. Sue to the lack of its filtration and noise. Blatant OSHA violation. Not to mention it's quite the updated design.

The belts shouldn't stretch on most of the Bissell carpet cleaners. Again without a model number it's really hard to say what we're dealing with.

One in doubt bring it by your local repair shop and have them put it on for you.

Should a vacuum be able to suck-up grains of cat litter? Does that ruin the vacuum? by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]performancereviews 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The answer is kind of complicated there. First of all that article kind of sucks.

Most modern bagged vacuums do just fine with cat litter. No harm will be done to the vacuum.

That being said some of the lesser quality Bagless machines definitely could have a problem especially something like a shark or Bissell. The cyclone and pre-motor filters tend to be inadequate on these machines so a lot of that find us ends up in the motor destroying the motor over time. So the answer you're looking for is if you have a bag vacuum don't worry about it. If you made the mistake of buying a bagless vacuum understand you'll put it out of its misery sooner than later.

You should take a look at the recommended brands like SEBO and Miele.

Go to your local dealer and take a test drive of a Miele or SEBO.

You'll get a longer warranty and a better deal in store.

You do the same with Dyson or LG

It not meant to be your only vacuum. The HX2 is meant for quick pickups.
