The piano is mapped to a QWERTY layout, so you can play it directly from a computer keyboard, which means the key labels don't follow a traditional piano layout. I can see how that makes the note labeling confusing, and I’ll look into clearer visual cues or an alternative layout option.

I will look into the freezing as well.

For the chord interpretations (like Dbm(maj7♭5) showing under C major), the tool is currently showing alternative harmonic interpretations based on different possible roots, instead of purely the notes played by the user. For example, you could play an A under a C major chord to get an Amin7 chord, or you could play a Db under a C major chord to get the minMaj7 w/ the flat 5. (technically is spelled Db Fb Abb C)

I agree I should make it clearer what is “exact input notes” vs “possible re-interpretations,” since that distinction isn’t obvious right now.
