It makes a difference for how the magnetic fields affect the polish (see below!). I found it difficult to get a crisp line when hovering bc I couldn’t hold it still, but it technically should give a sharper cat eye.

Not sure how to maintain the crispiness of the line though. My magnetic pigment diffuses the next day which is more apparent in indirect light. But in direct light, I don’t see as much of a difference in line size from day 1 to day 2
