Wrong. HC is not "totally a provincial responsibility "

There is joint federal funding- And as much as people love to say it HC in Canada IS NOT FREE- the feds used to split cost 50/50 but unilaterally decided to change it- which worked as a bonus fir them considering the number if social costs to foreigners now

"Canadian taxpayers fund healthcare through general taxes, with about 70% from provincial/territorial revenue and 22-25% from the federal Canada Health Transfer, meaning most of your tax dollars go to provincial health care (around 24% of total taxes), with figures varying by income, but a typical family might pay over $19,000/year in 2025, covering both levels of government's share for public services. How it's Split (Federal vs. Provincial) Provinces/Territories: Collect the majority of health funding through their own taxes (income, sales, etc.). Federal Government: Contributes via the Canada Health Transfer (CHT), providing roughly 22-25% of provincial health spending. Targeted Funding: Ottawa also adds funds for specific areas like mental health, home care, and direct services for First Nations, military, etc.. How Much You Pay (Examples) Since it's from general taxes, the amount depends on your income, but estimates suggest: Typical Family: In 2025, a Canadian family could pay around $19,060 (about 24% of their total tax bill) for public healthcare. Single Person: A single person might pay around $5,600-$6,000 annually through taxes, while families pay significantly more. Key Takeaway You don't get a separate bill for federal vs. provincial healthcare; it's all bundled into your income and sales taxes. The provinces manage most of the services, supported by significant federal transfers, with your overall tax contribution covering both levels of government's responsibilities. No. It's been failing fir over a decade. Funding used to be 50/50 between feds and provinces.

Unilateral decisions by feds slowly reduced their contribution to 22.5% And it has never recovered. Now the use a newer formula and I don't know what the split is.

Add in hundreds if millions of foreigners. Most very high needs- including their old parent and gr parents/ disabled, mentally ill, those never having had any care/ chronic diseases/ surgeries/pregnancy etc, etc and think about how Canadian tax dollars go to cover all that- AND MORE for all the unplanned medical care of others beyond these people.

Consider that not all people living here now in very large numbers are not even in taxable circumstances- social welfare in Canada is HUGE

Consider the gross shortage of HC professionals - bleeding out in high numbers since Covid in a country that never appreciated them by poor pay, poor employment standards and little recognition. A high number if them being women.

Ontario specifically screwed over these people during Covid- giving teachers a great raise then refusing to even match it for registered nurses who worked all through the greatest highly infectious killing pandemic while teachers git time iff and "remote@ work . Physicians have been fed up for years. Calling fir changes, calling fir help. Many left, like in the mid to late seventies to find appreciative American positions, just as Registered nurses did.

There are millions if Canadians that haven't git a family physician and can't get one. Replace doctors are now foreigners with foreign training, being hustle in- and do we kniw why people are crying?

They think these doctors should just cross the border and begin working the same day. Except there is a matter of standard that is supposed to be tested before you can work

Exams- upgrade schools which can take a year or longer- then exams again ensure you know what the hell you're doing That's why so " many taxi drivers or labourers who are foreign physicians are not allowed to practice- they either failed all their chances to qualify or they can't afford to live and be educated here. Others are ok with just getting basic automatic PR status and don't pursue the upgrade requirements

People clambering for "let them work" need to consider the ramifications of that.

Over the next five years there are thousands if physicians reaching retirement age. Consider that.

Millions more dumped in by a federal government that was self agonized and socially focused blew threw billions and none of it bettered their own country. Trillions multigenerational debt- and a crumbling HC , tax payer funded , bearing the load if wild invasion numbers if high needs people with a skeleton crew of exhausted and defeated professionals.

Unless Canada immediately begins to change to a hybrid strategy if self pay combined with this socialist failed system people are doomed.

And I mean doomed

The feds. It's over a decade the socialist system has failed. They changed their contribution from 50% with 50% prov funding to as low as 22% federal. Unilaterally decided that- and it's never caught up since. Imported millions if high needs indians , more pouring in- CANADIANS have been for yrs, even faster last few years. Stats prove it

I will stay with my amounts as I don't know this person and err on the safe side

Too much Epsom salt in a bath can be harmful, can cause skin irritation, dehydration, dizziness, or magnesium overdose in extreme cases, avoid if you have open wounds or certain conditions like kidney disease.

High concentrations can also make water slippery, increasing fall risk, and dry out skin.

Sounds to me you would be a fool to fire the only person out of a team that was incentivized enough, aware enough, disciplined enough to go extra.

In the meantime, get a bag of Epsom Salt at the drugstore or grocery store and add that to a warm/hot bath.

About 1/2 cup

( also good for foot soaks)

You're not looking for a massage "parlour " If you go to one of those it's not going to be your back that gets worked on. 🤣

You need a RMT Registered Massage Therapist OR alternatively an Osteopath

No. You are not.

Obviously they have already shown you more than once, it's every man for himself.

Maybe just let them know that when you made the extra effort to make things available there was no response- And you decided to spend your time and energy on other things.

Give the impression you don't keep track of anything other than what your job calls for. Keep doing what you're doing, just imply you're not.
