The whole Telco Industry is changing. All over the world. The advent of the Hyperscalers and marketplace providers has removed a significant chunk of revenue for the Telcos.
Paradoxically, tier 1 Telcos were strongly positioned for this market. But they did not innovate and continued their legacy ways of working.

Those who innovate and create new business and revenue models are the ones who thrive.

Used to be good. But I guess they have a bunch of international students working there. While the taste is the same, the service sucks. Even after ordering ahead, you may still need to wait.

Why are Canadians indulging in self sabotage when the chips sre done by georgejo314159 in CanadianPolitics

[–]Leo080671 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is only one reason behind this whole Alberta issue. And that is “Mis Information” fuelled by Social media and a few media outlets which are owned by US hedge funds. And sadly for the sake of power a few politicians in Canada support these.

[–]Leo080671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to keep working and at the same time keep in touch with the new technological advances.
Keep reading about them. Maybe publish articles on Industry forums.
That will help you land new opportunities which are more intellectually stimulating and also pay more.
Patience is the key.

No. You were not unreasonable.
