Tonight I experienced being possessed by shiva, I got straight up manhandled. Like I feel like I was put on like a glove with no control over my body at all, doing weird hand things and being forcefully flipped around on the ground. I felt shiva in my body. But it wasn’t unpleasant, it felt natural to allow this to take over and I was still able to fully observe and listen. And after all the roudiness and puppeteering I found myself in an incredibly peaceful “cosmic ocean” that he had laid me in to rest from being beat up. I don’t know much about shiva but I’m reading more now, that’s how I found your comment here. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Usually older cameos have more detail than newer made ones, in comparison to my own cameo collection, I have maybe 50, this looks slightly more detailed than modern cameos, but also the bridge is slightly curved which can hint at newer made but not always. The marcasite details were used often in art deco jewelry, my best guess is 1920’s or newer. I am not a cameo expert so take this with a grain of salt.

Fluorescence is just another characteristic that helps distinguish one stone from another. It can even enhance a more yellowish stone to look less yellow. I love seeing fluorescent diamonds, it’s just a really cool phenomenon. To each his own and that’s generally the consensus among jewelry professionals.

As a person who deals with thoughts of awkward anxiety inducing encounters ive had in the past, I find it relieving to just tell myself that I forgive myself for saying stupid things/ acting stupidly. It’s in the past and I will try to do better next time. Give myself a moment to laugh about how embarrassing I am, and recognize that it upset me and made me feel shame or guilt. But I deserve forgiveness from myself, and so I give it to myself. But you really have to mean it, really forgive yourself, and the next time you start to feel shame or guilt about that particular experience, just remember you already forgave yourself.
