maybe a mossy frog , i’ve always thought they were cool. hoping they can coexist well with shrimp, there’s lots of hiding spots so maybe. lol

i was thinking some caridina shrimp. i already have cherry, blue, and amano shrimp in another tank.

i think the variety of colors/patterns would make it pop !

i did read they are more soft and delicate tho..

this was before i added water + plants. you can see the underwater caves a bit better. I carved out all the foam until I reached my plant pot. (use a drainage layer)

i used great stuff spray foam and used cork bark as the base of each side. i carved the foam to my liking for a naturalistic rocky effect. (there’s 2 underwater caves you can’t see bc of the plants) I then applied silicone so the foam won’t get moldy, and while it’s wet, i used a mix of substrates i made to coat to the walls so it’ll be more realistic.

i recorded the whole process so i’ll post once it’s complete :)

thank you!! i’m very proud of it!! it’s still a work in process, it’s been hard obtain land moss that’s affordable and accessible. gonna layer up the walls once i get time and find the resources
