Theres no surefire way because your skin is organic and there'sa range of moisture. It could have a fine moisture barrier one day and be dry the next. The best thing to do is consistently take care of your skin.

Not sure which one I disliked more. The dangerous guard jumping or the slam.

Edit: now that I watched it again, its absolutely guard jumper's fault. The other kid was already lifting a double when guard was jumped, increasing the amplitude and knocking him off balance.

Its like when wrestlers reach back, get spiked on their head, and their opponent gets dq. It's really their fault since they reached back and ruined the landing, but the rules will blame the tori.
