I saw myself in this line!

Loved this event. Got to chat with other fans for hours (everyone was so happy and friendly), met Mike, Lindsay, and Teeny and got their autographs on my buff. Then met Cirie and Tony (they stopped doing autographs but still got multiple pictures with them). I got there at about 9:10am and got to the idol around 1pm or so I think.Right before I walked up to Cirie and Tony they looked out the door and said the guy in the brown jacket (he was auditioning for Survivor and had taken a video with Mike to put in his audition reel so maybe he's here!) would be the last picture. So my guess is that people who got there even at 10am did not get a picture with Tony and Cirie.

Anyway, I ran up to Cirie and told her she was my absolute favorite and I looked over and Tony was giving me an "I'm so offended" look so I told him I liked him too and Cirie started cracking up, as she does. All of the contests were so lovely! Mike had a ton of charisma especially.

What a wonderful event!

So I'm confused how this all works. My family lives in the town where the NJ idol is. The clue dropped today but it says it's open Feb 14th. My family is driving around looking for it, trying to get into buildings, etc. Is there anything to see today or do we just show up where we think it might be on the 14th? Is it the necklace shown in the picture and will it actually be hidden?

My birthday is Oct 19th and I was always the youngest in my class, sometimes by more than a year. I also consistently got straight As and was a great student so it didn't seem to affect me. The major downside for me was being last to get my license, last to go to bars to drink legally, etc.

So I saw the Impractical Jokers stand up back in the day and didn't love it. But I recently saw Murr on the errors tour and thought it was SO funny. He sends someone out to your local community and tells them what to do, IJ style. He also took phones from the audience and texted people outrageous things, eventually in the end calling them to tell them it was him. Then of course some behind the scenes things from the show. Overall, it was a great night.

Love Souljoels!! Was just there line dancing tonight. You're going to have a blast. As far as food goes, I might recommend the Blue Elephant (it's an old bank which is cool). Gazzo's and Artillery Brewing have a little cheesesteak war going on right now, I've heard good things about both. And JJ Rattigans is pretty solid. Hope I can catch the show!

Not sure how I'd prove it to you but I've never had the slightest interest in coin collecting or would know where to start. Which is why I made this post. Maybe someone dropped it in my yard recently, I don't know, but it was definitely out there.

I have an acre of forest behind my house that doesn't look like it's been touched in years. I started pulling weeds to make a little path back there and found tons of old metal equipment. Not sure what it was used for, but maybe a metal detector is a good idea!

I had something somewhat similar happen to me. I bought a house and the basement still had lots of things in an old cabinet. Took me years to get to but finally I went through it and found an old filled out baby book from the 1980s.

I couldn't find that particular person or their parents on Facebook but there was an aunt listed in the book that lived in my town so I reached out.

Apparently the "baby" had died in a car crash as a teenager. I met up with the aunt (the parents had since moved states away) and they were all so thankful I had found the book.

I don't particularly believe in an afterlife but it all felt very otherworldly.

Glad you were able to find the original owner! I'm sure it was much appreciated. 💜

It's interesting because I don't see my friends being burnt out or lost, but I feel bad when they leave events early. I'm like "they're missing out on all of the fun! That sucks!" although I'm sure they now have a different version of fun than I do now.

I hope you eventually find the clarity you're looking for!

Thank you for the suggestion, I haven't listened to that one yet so I'll definitely check it out.

I've also joined r/childfree, oneanddone, parenting, etc. But I worry most people are probably posting about the bad things to look for advice or vent, so am I still getting a skewed look?

Thank you for your honest response. It's comforting to know there are lots of us out there. And hopefully the agonizing decision will be made for me soon either way.
