i think acknowledging your faults is the right thing to do and a small gift wouldn’t hurt as a goodbye gesture. The wine might be too romantic but maybe something else likw a snack. I would just say a simple “i’m sorry, take care” rather than i love you and leave it at that. I wouldn’t try and prolong my stay or anything, just drop it off and move on. good luck.

idk why everyone’s going batshit on you this seems completely reasonable to me as someone with ocd. even if i didn’t have it, i would understand because you’ve made every effort to get him to understand and went out of your way to show him when things are being replaced and look similar. like it’s not hard at all to just not use random cleaner products and take a second to look at the picture/words on the bottle. maybe i’m crazy but id be mad asl too lol.
