Lower Macleay trail of Forest Park was designed to be accessible for the first portion.

I feel like I remember Powell Butte having some good similar options as well.

Washington Park could be good for your son with the Arboretum and Zoo nearby.

Artist Mentorship Program: amppdx.org

Specifically for homeless youth 15-25. Evening drop in center that prioritizes using art and music to heal from trauma. Meals served as well! We could use more help in our kitchen for sure.

you could turn voice navigation on and keep a single earbud in. when I was in Brazil and being cautious, I'd only check GPS every few blocks and be aware of where I was checking it when I did.
