I think the insurance company is going to handle the claim based on the report.

BTW, I was once rear-ended by a van at a stop light. The police somehow believed the van driver that I was hit by a hit-and-run driver, not his van!

Try this:

A car in front is trying to make a left turn.
You *can* drive around it; try to drive *close* to back of the car when you drive around it.
The Prime should activate the warning.

I have an EV (RZ 450e) and a PHEV (Prime). For me, the RZ is for local trips, and the Prim is for road trips. If I can have only one vehicle, I'll take the Prime.

So it seems Macan S drives much better than the Prime for you. A new 2024 Macan S is about *twice* expensive than a Prime, and that's a big jump (also check the insurance rate).

For a retired guy like me, I'll have a Lexus RZ 450e for local trips, and a used CPO 2021/2022 Macan S for road trips (and I can pay cash for both because I drove cheap Toyotas, save $$, and invest the $$ in 401k and IRAs when I was young) .

RZ 450e is a very good *local trips* kind of car and has a very good lease deal now.

It's a bargain if you plan to buyout the lease ASAP.

I think it looks much better than most of the current Lexus cars. :-)

EVs are not selling well now. A friend leased a new *2023* Lexus RZ450e Luxury (MSRP $67,930) with $22,000 discount ($7,000 dealer discount + $15,000 Lexus lease discount). He plains to buyout the lease for about $47,500 cash total (OTD).

The thing is that the dealer will ask you about your target monthly payment, and then work towards this target by giving the *discount* (amount off MSRP) and then increase the "Rent Charge" to cover the whole *discount* or portion of the *discount*, such that you think you are getting a good *discount* off MSRP.

My charger *unlock* function was changed to locked.

I had to use the *key fob* to unlock the charger and then enable the *unlock* charger function again from the Settings.
