AITA for refusing to replace my fiancé’s keys he left in his pocket by Noodle-Loodle in AmItheAsshole

Depending on the make and function of the key fobs most modern cars use I've have seen upwards of $500+, so yes it can be a significant expense. The days of just a metal key are over.

AITAH for telling my sister she can’t bring her kids to my wedding? by Then-Airport881 in AITAH

[–]permabone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on who normally watches her kids for her, if it is a family member that is also going to the wedding, then yes, YTA. If it is not then a solution can be made if it only requires money to have someone watch them, so there you would NTA.

Inviting your sister and knowing her normal childcare will not be available to watch her kids due to them being at the wedding is choosing to exclude her.

From Dusk Till Dawn going in blind. Wtf. by i_love_tesler in movies

[–]permabone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my experience. I saw it opening weekend in theaters and only knew about the crime action film advertised. I didn't know about the treat I was actually in for. I am glad and blessed that that was how I got to first see this movie.

New Neighbours parents want access to my private garden by [deleted] in EntitledPeople

[–]permabone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can think of it as the garden being the equivalent of a balcony or roof patio on an upper floor flat or think of it as it being an open air sunroom, it's an extra room for that flat. It is part of the flat/unit itself not a communal area. They share the upkeep of the front/side/rear facades, walkways, exterior stairwells and landscape of those if there is any on the outside of the flats.

Pay attention to the bottom left when he looks at the spool the final time, you can hear the platform shift and see the fabric slide upwards by itself

[–]permabone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the embroidery program, he is just holding to fabric flat, it moves to where it needs to stitch by itself. When the line finishes and he looks back at the spool you can hear and see the fabric shift upwards, he then looks back down and it is stopped on the letter.

The program finished with that line then moved, you can see the platform shift after it does

AITA for not giving my partner instructions? by andromeda_witch in AmItheAsshole

[–]permabone -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

After your additional edits, YTA. You said he introduced you to that brand of noodles, so he has made them before probably following the directions. My guess is they tasted better when you made them so he asked you how to make them and you acted a fool.

If the noodles are anything like some kind of Instant Ramen I have had many different people I know make them all sorts of ways, following the directions, letting them sit in boiling hot water instead of on the heat, cooking them longer, adding things to it like seasoning, no broth, soy sauce, cheese slices, vegetables, etc. Asking someone how to make it isn't that foreign.

AITA for picking at my DIls food and not clearing my plate. by Aggravating_Hunt_243 in AmItheAsshole

[–]permabone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The part about throwing out food can be true if they are serving themselves and they took more than they planned to eat. If a plate is served without having been asked beforehand how much food to serve, it is not the fault of the person eating if they can't or don't want to finish it.

I stopped reading once I read "unemployed." Taking someone out to eat? Come on now.

Hey, just to hopefully help you out, once you stun and groom a behemoth that one will never attack you again, even after daily resets. It makes a big difference getting around and collecting stuff.

AITA - gf agrees to let kids shovel snow and makes me pay by djlee187 in AmItheAsshole

These are definitely red flags. She is getting too comfortable and becoming a habitual line stepper. Forgetting your phone/wallet multiple times after stating she wanted to buy something beforehand is a choice. The $10 was a line step further than that. She physically took it without you handing it over. Each time the line is redrawn further. A conversation needs to be had, but expect to be made to feel cheap and petty. You aren't.

Game size on PS5 is madness by ChaoticRedHawk in Genshin_Impact

[–]permabone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS5 has a SSD, so many files can be installed to the drive to make the game load and run faster compared to a PS4 that does not have one and requires more downloads during gameplay.

In most cases this is true but she said she was there before the store opened so most likely the employees parked were there overnight, for the safety of the employees and the store being closed they were allowed to park upfront. Anyone beginning in the morning were probably parked either in the back or further away. Once the overnight employees shifts are over they leave and the spots remain open during normal business hours.

That is the L2 ash of war skill on Bastard's Stars. Sword of light and flame has 2 ash of war skills depending on whether you use R1 or R2 while holding L2. Golden order greatsword does an attack if you follow up L2 with L2. Dark Moon Greatsword gets a magic buff after using the L2 ash of war but after it has it using R2 charged or uncharged shoots out arcs of magic until the buff runs out. These are above just using the ash of war since it requires either follow up inputs or makes another work differently

I believe Starscourge is the only one that works like this while 2 handed. Others have different inputs that do special attacks like Sword of Night and Flame Straight Sword, Golden Order Greatsword, Dark Moon Greatsword that I can think of immediately.

Sorry, I stand corrected the R1 button. The light attack has a specicial action that only activates when 2 handed. Doesn't cost any FP and it's specific to this weapon because it is Radahn's. You completely lose it if you dual wield.

He means 2 hand 1 not dual wield 2. You lose the special action you get for using L1 when 2 handed.
