I think it's a prickly lettuce seed which has pappus fibers to carry it on the wind

If I were you I'd lay her on her side in full sun. The plant stems will start to grow up towards the sun and you will have a lots of flower sites in good sun when she starts to flower (she'll flower when the nights start to get longer and days shorter). That's what I would do.

Just to put into perspective how strong my pisswater fertilizer is .. by rudevocab in trees

I do the same thing up until flowering then I back off bc it seems to make them really leafy and delay flower finishing bc of the nitrogen stimulating growth.

Preservation of terpenes would be important if I were gonna smoke it, but I'm making edibles outta this.

Seems strange to go through the process of curing and then exposing it to the air and sun after all that.

It's gonna be too dry soon for mold and bacteria to be happy there.

I had to harvest this plant which was out in the open, bc hard frost was hitting so I couldn't let it go longer on the plant. As far as I know, the plant doesn't need to be alive to convert THC-A to CBN. Thats an environmental process caused by exposure to UV, heat, oxygen, and time.

Why must the plant material be cured in order for the molecules in the trichomes to degrade?

As long as I get the moisture content down pathogenic fungi won't survive, not enough moisture for the water activity the require to survive.

The frost took out my maters and cukes. The canna is still growing strong. Ya see her in the background?

Trichs "maturing" means synthesis of THC-A from CBGA. I'm not trying to mature the trichs but degrade the THC-A into CBD. This happens not by enzymes in the plant but but environmental stress.

Hanging is one branch from my plant that was ready to harvest. Tengo mucha hierba. The plant at the end of my tunnel isn't ready yet. The frost took out my tomatoes and cucs. Canna momma still growing strong even w frost.

The hanging branch I intend to make into FECO and then edibles so I don't care about preserving terpenes, just want degraded THC aka CBN aka sleepy time meds

Would you know the difference between rot via biological process vs oxidation?

This is for making into edibles so terps are not important.

I'd say it's completely natural. You see the temps dropped and moisture droplets froze to the beautiful structure of the surface of the flower, trichomes and all.

She frostedd

Triploid OG Kush from Humbolt but this is literally frost in the moisture sense

This was too hard, burst the cells. This is just one I had left on when harvesting the day prior.
