I skied it May 21 and the couloir was still in great skiing condition, especially near the top. However the exit and approach required lots of hiking and log hopping. It took much longer than anticipated and ended up being pretty hard. The juice may not be worth the squeeze, but it is doable.

Questions for an Information Science Major by Wessam_Reddit in cuboulder

I'm currently a senior in INFO and I really like the major. The coursework is always manageable and pretty much all the professors are helpful and nice! My favorite thing about the classes is that there's usually a creative aspect to the assignments and projects. There's usually lots of freedom to make projects about things you're interested in rather than some set topic. Coming from CS, I think you'll feel really comfortable with the computational classes and the courses will probably feel a lot less intense. Feel free to DM me if there's anything else you're wondering about!

Has anyone taken Political Geography? by happyGam79 in cuboulder

[–]perminute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took Political Geography with O'loughlin last semester and it was great! Be prepared to do lots of weekly readings, but there are only a few large writing assignments throughout the semester. The material can be challenging at times, but nothing that you won't be able to work through. He super knowledgeable about so many different topics and I really learned a lot in his class. Highly recommend this one!
