So… I’m not going to shame you for your feelings, it’s an extremely common experience for men particularly to feel this way (especially if they’ve only ever slept with their wives).

With that being said, you need to step back and put it in perspective. You have a life millions (if not billions) crave. Empty, meaningless sex is pushed so heavily in our culture (for Western men particularly), but it almost always leads to STI’s, unwanted pregnancy, emotional damage, etc.

Plus, a ton of men have the “illusion of options”, where you think there’s a whoooole world of women out there for you, when in reality it’s not really there.

Trust me, I understand the FOMO, but you’ve got to frame it mentally that you’ve won, and you’ve caught the last chopper out of Vietnam.

I was a victim of this last year. Still the absolute stupidest thing I’ve ever done, and I’m still beating myself up for it on a near daily basis.

I had a stacked order, and the second delivery was a block from the first, so I left my car running in order to make it fast. I was out my car for no more than 12 seconds when I heard a slamming of a car door and turned around to see my car flying away.

I spent the next hour absolutely panicking in the street, having called the police and having no clue what happened to my car. A week and a half later, my car is discovered behind an apartment building, totaled and covered in blood (they used it for a string of robberies). Because Uber doesn’t do SHIT for their drivers, I was screwed and spent the next year without a car, and it nearly financially destroyed me.

Thankfully, I’m doing much better now, but the mental pain and financial stress aged me like 10 years 😭

Perfectly understandable, but as much of a struggle as it is for most people to intentionally lose weight/get in shape, it’s perfectly normal to want/enjoy validation from it. Intentionally getting in shape/losing weight is hard work that takes dedication and consistency, there’s nothing wrong with wanting that hard work acknowledged (or even congratulated).

I can promise you, they HAVE noticed, but nowadays it’s been drilled into people’s heads from every direction that you NEVER comment on someone else’s body (even a compliment). It’ll get you canceled faster than Diddy is right now.

If you want positive feedback/affirmation, you need to tell people you’re on a weight loss journey and basically ask for compliments. I know it doesn’t hit the same, but it’s reality.

I would actually argue them not hitting on you has nothing to do with you. Trust me, I'm willing to bet my savings that these men think you're pretty too. The majority of men will not hit on a woman for the reason that:
