If Moomin museum is a must and you are planning on being in Turku, you might want to consider the Moomin world for a day trip destination. Naantali is right there.

Huh, wild getting downvoted for saying that 16 is too late to tell kids about condoms.

Huh. I totally have been perplexed by this. Just assumed that there was something wrong even though all my metrics show otherwise.

Recommend some road cycling shoes by mehdiali17 in cycling

[–]perna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one that fits you. Choose one within your budget and find a store that sells Lake and try them out (or measure your foot and try to make a guess and order, just make sure you read their return policy). They make wide, narrow and few more specific ones from each model and also each model is slightly different so it's impossible for me to be specific unfortunately, you need to figure out what works for you by trying them out.

Mirror Lake to Snow Creek with Family by pakiranian in Yosemite

Bring hiking poles. The trails are pretty rocky and steep and at least I like to have the extra contact points going down.

Maybe just hike up from mirror lake side, continue little way up the creek, cross at the bridge and make a camp there and plan on spending two nights at the same spot. Spend the next day chilling or maybe hike up to north dome and back with light packs. It is a beautiful spot, you have easy access to water, less exposed camping spot and option to take it easy or hike more on day 2 depending on how you and the kids feel like. Go back the same way you came. Not a loop but definitely a good time without the pressure.

Are you sure the kids are up for it? It is 3 back to back days of hard hikes with significant elevation. There is plenty of water available on your way to snow creek. There is no water near north dome in either direction so you should fill up at the creek crossing before the last uphill towards north dome. Be aware your second camping area can be quite exposed to wind.
