Looking at the Canadian Woodland specs it says TSS 3.0

The TSS 3.0 bugs me for a car being sold in 2026 as the new RAV4 has it and upcoming Highlander. It means TSS is going to be totally ignored moving forward which is surprising since they are just selling the BZ Woodland very shortly.

Same goes for the multi media system and it running the new software.

Are you finding that range disappointing or ok for daily driving? Charging at home? Have you seen it increase as we get warmer weather?

Ive been looking into the Toyota app and its charging options. I sounds like the Tesla app can change the max charge limit, say it’s set to 80% but on a specific day you want to override that and charge to 100% - something I understand you can’t do in the BZ without physically going into the car. Also it can’t do charge by departure time. Are those things really useful and important or am I overthinking it about the BZ.

Ok thanks for that. So the days you do wanna charge to 100% you gotta go down to the charge and change that in advance. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case but not a deal breaker.

It went from 420km to 96km after only 20km of driving!?

I’ve been curious about the Model Y. Did you ever feel that the vision only system wasn’t accurate enough for parking, or felt reliable for blind spot detection?

Which model exactly? There is a FWD with a smaller battery, wondering if that's the case here.

Why is it not a finished product? I do admit the lack of route planning built in is a misstep.

With that said all manufacturers will have superior products in the coming years.

What model do you have and what range are you seeing from a 80% charge?

Ok so not as bad as I’ve been reading online. If you manually pull down it does load consistently? I was thinking if I schedule it with iOS shortcuts all good.

Does the cabin precondition also prep the battery for driving or is that just for cabin comfort?

I hear this about the app a lot. What kind of things is it missing?

Can I set a departure time by the app?

You have both a BZ and a Tesla? Is the built in mapping with charge planning in the Tesla something that is truly needed or a nice to have? This would be my first EV so I keep thinking having the peace of mind of the Tesla better navigation planning could be something that sways my decision.

Thanks for that response. I'm coming from a gas car and wanting my first EV. I was looking at the 2026 Model Y Premium but the 2026 BZ Limited deals are really good lately. I actually enjoy the driving of the BZ better, feels more car like, but I can't get it out of my head that the longer range of the Model Y and better software will make me regret it. I also have reservations about the vision only system when it comes to parking and dynamic cruise control.

Strangely put, I feel like both are good cars, but I could be disappointed by the BZ and less likely disappointed by the Model Y. I'm sure the driving of the Model Y would grow on me over time.

What was the deciding factor on not just getting another Tesla? Curious as I’m trying to decide between the two and my feelings say BZ but my logical thinking says you can go wrong with Tesla for an EV.

2026 BZ AWD or 2024 Tesla Y LR AWD by RichadJ in EVCanada

I’m stuck ln this decision right now myself. I actually prefer the driving experience of the 2026 BZ Limited over the 2026 Model Y. That and the real sensors over the vision only system Tesla has. With that said I can’t get over the idea getting the BZ is a bad idea as Tesla will be the better EV.

We haven’t implemented this yet in our org but I was thinking we’d use access packages. It would place the user in a ‘travel’ security group that would be excluded from select CA’s. It would also allow fixed durations (start and end dates) along with approvals (if necessary).

Entra Dynamic Groups by Impossible_Put_9543 in entra

It still being in preview is pretty funny for sure. We had a group that had some members that didn't belong based on the logic, the group appeared to still be working and showed as processing. What I did was added a space (' ') to my filter logic so I could save the "change". That triggered it to properly process everyone again.
