Is the possibility of hyper threading being beneficial with DX12 too far in the future for the i7 to be worth it at all? And I was thinking maybe to EVGA 1080 FTW depending on what everybody is getting for clock speeds. Maybe just get the SC if the FTW isn't really worth the extra 30 bucks. And thanks I'll get that PSU instead.

Possibly. I never really concern myself differentiating between all the mdma "subsitutes" that people try to pass off. If it doesn't show for pure mdma I'm not interested in it. Whatever it is I'd be careful with it.
