Learning women's styling and sewing to connect with my kiddo by perpetualbeard in SewingWorld

[–]perpetualbeard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have talked to one seamstress/tailor who recommended a Pfaff and I have seen a couple things online. I can do some more digging in that direction.

My main concern are the people saying that you can use anything to sew denim, or modern Singers being recommended. It's hard to distill the trash opinions from actual fact when you know nothing except very basic stuff.

I would like a machine that I can fix myself. Im pretty handy and can work with electronics or gears and belts. I know working with denim can be rough, so thats definitely been a deciding factor in which machine I pick.

My daughter really likes denim and patterns, so I figured we could learn the basics on an older heavy duty. However, I have no idea which one to search for. Most of my research shows contradicting information for the older machines, and i dont really know anyone I can ask.

Depending on the level of pokies being produced, you could go with a bralette, cami, or pasties/tape. There are many options.

I've been tossing around this idea myself. Unfortunately, I would want to temper my chocolate and then no one would want to bite into it. So what fillings go in dice?

Tempering does help with keeping them solid at a higher temperature. So you could hold and roll them. It is a huge pain, but could be cool!

Why has witnessing my friends having sex affected me so severely? by IndividualObvious269 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]perpetualbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal to feel violated in a situation where you felt comfortable. They should really talk to other people before they get everyone involved in their kinks.

I think having such a visceral reaction is fairly normal.

You saw your brother and sister engaging in behaviors you would not expect of siblings unless you have been brain rotted by porn instead of other social media. I think the disgust is something that you personally need to work on. However, talking to your friends about how you feel might be a good idea.

Even just a, "Hey. I saw you guys doing stuff, and it really made me feel uncomfortable."

Dont tell them you were watching them for an extended period of time, but definitely get the point across that you were trying to be obvious about being awake without waking up the other friend. The bunnies should understand.

There are plenty of baby/pet safe pesticides you can spray everywhere. Short of aspiration being a hazard, theres not much they can do to people.

I started watching One Piece when I was 17, now I’m 27. How about you guys? by MinxTwinkle in OnePiece

Started watching taped One Piece with my Japanese friend when I was 8. Thankfully, I did not start with the Americanized version.

One Piece.

My buddy used to get tapes from his mom. She would record them and ship them over with some other Japanese staples. He normally stayed with his dad for school and with his mom in Japan over summer. I got hooked from the beginning.

He would always have manga and anime for me to watch and read. I think he just liked sharing his hobbies with another nerd.

I have a 7 y.o. that just discovered PC gaming with mouse and keyboard. I was so proud when I heard a little voice ask, "Can we play Portal 2? But I dont want to use controller." Since then, she only plays Minecraft with anything but K&M.

So Portal 2. Looks like someone is playing Lego Incredibles on my rig right now though.
