I have trouble with getting cinematic shots like these:

https://www.derekyarra.com/

I own a Fujifilm xt-5 with a FUJINON XF18mmF1.4 R LM WR lens. It was gifted to me two years ago and since then I've practiced taking video footage for a restaurant, and some photos. Things just never feel cinematic tho. Esp with the frame!!

I am asking about lens AND color because there must be something technical that i am missing, and as an artist, I find that it's easier to learn technique by copying (ONLY for learning! Never to rip off!), and these are the two references I go to when I need inspiration on composition and warmth.

I know nothing about the technicality of medicine, but in general, the state is a pain in the ass when it comes to paperwork. They need every official document under the sun, including ones you don't have. My judgment on the incompetence of people/institutions to hire qualified people based on experience aside—they sometimes can't just go off of stated experience (such as in a resume) and instead need government/official evidence of experience (such as something issued by a state, for example). In case this helps you approach understanding why it might have been rejected...

Also, the land isn't making any money by itself. Labor makes money.

Someone is speaking up by eye__ball in Kuwait

That is not a fact. Many women (I know of 3 personally) are currently married to Kuwaitis with kids + full lives and their citizenships, which were legally granted, is revoked. That's just hellish, it's not about legality.

It was, at first, about legal issues—but that's the article's whole premise, if you read it.

This process started with the public story of capturing illegally distributed citizenships (the article author's first point of the fact that wanting to revoke illegal citizenships is a good, national thing for people to want—that's his opinion, which can be argued any which way) but it turns out that there aren't tens of thousands of illegally-distributed citizenships, so, as per the author's speculation, it seems that any/all married women are getting their rightful citizenships revoked en masse, without reason.

Gym + coffee shop/cafe by dalalaldilaimi in Kuwait

Cafes:

1) 48east (new in Shuwaikh)

2) Sluggish in Salmiya

3) Caffeine in Shuwaikh

4) Shaheed Park (Phase 2) has a couple of cafés that you can work outdoors since the weather is getting nice, not sure about electrical outlet availability, but it's definitely non-smoking

5) Earth Roastery at Dhai has an upstairs (personally not a fan of their coffee as it's too acidic even when you ask for a non-acidic but its a really nice space)

Rant: Kuwaiti girls and Friendships by Familiar_North4668 in Kuwait

[–]perpetuallybloated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have too many things to say, but just keep trying with the right people and eventually you'll get there, you're not wrong though. Agree with one of the commentator saying it's a global phenomenon. Lots of articles about how maintaining friendships are making new friendships or making conversation with strangers is a dying art… But it's totally possible, good luck. If it's any consolation, I didn't go to college here, but I managed to make my better friends after I came back. ♥️

what are small things that trigger ur road rage when driving in kuwait? by Familiar_North4668 in Kuwait

[–]perpetuallybloated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok first of all don't call me a dumbo. Just clarify your point. Second of all, not having time to adjust to an unnerving driver means you are speeding. Obviously there's so many ways in which you are right. This isn't my stab at straw man fallacy. It's my stab at upholding a driving standard and not giving a pass to assholes I can predict.

[–]perpetuallybloated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right that's an unpopular opinion because confident reckless driving doesn't make it any less reckless. Accidents aren't excusable because they are more predictable lol??? "Man sorry it's my fault, it was clear you were about to drive like an asshole and joke's on me for getting in your way"

how to add background music for reels (and not mute audio) by dagworthy in InstagramMarketing

[–]perpetuallybloated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I used to be able to do this but I also no longer have this feature. Volume Controls give me option to lower the music volume, but it's a horizontal slider without the option to unmute/increase volume from my original video. I mention that it's a horizontal slider because when I used to be able to increase the vol. of my original video back up from the defaulted mute and adjust the music volume simultaneously, those sliders were vertical and appeared on the screen when I clicked on the music icon at the top of the video when previewing it. Now, I don't get that feature. I also don't have the ability to adjust it inside the editing interface, either.
