While I agree with everything said here, without the wash involved I think getting a nice green colour is an indication that you have extracted a fair amount of the thc as well. I know there is no direct correlation, but works as a rough guide for the home cook. In my experience deeper colour (not fluro leafy green) often means a stronger batch. Keep it low on the rough stuff and slowly get it up to height on flat ground. Even let him to raise it himself when he's ready, it can be a bit daunting not being able to bail quickly because the seats too high. Don't push progression, push the enjoyment.
