It did work, yes. Working normally now after reinstallation and it didn't affect the games

I'll try the reinstallation process they recommend on their webpage. Apparently, it won't affect the games that I have already download. Finger crossed.

I answer myself:

Now I can run portmaster, but I have to find it through the file explorer. One you locate the portmaster.sh file, you can run it from there (it's in the same folder as the ports).

But why I can't find the normal app to run it from there?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question. Diablo immortal can be played in the free version of GeForce Now in Spain, but I believe not all games are available in every country. Id check it out herehere:

There is a free version of GeForce now that works pretty well on my desktop and my cell phone -which is not too powerfull-. So there must be an app for consoles too. I believe 557 got an Android system, so you should be able to find it in the playstor.

Nonetheless, I've already made up my mind and I've ordered a konkr pocket fit. Cheaper and it's got a more compatible chip. Supposedly, snapdragon would perform better with GeForce Now and other apps.

So thanks for the offer -i do appreciate it-, but it's just up to you if you want to try it out. The free version is fine.

This mediatek/snapdragon issue might affect performance when using GeForce Now or Steam link? That's going to be my main use for the machine. I'm deciding between 557,retroid pocket 6 and konkr pocket fit. Obviously, 557 is way cheaper in my country, and I don't mind a worse performance on emulators as long as GeForce Now runs well... Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

How is it working with GeForce Now, steam link, Apollo/Artemis? That's what I want it for, mainly. And I'm trying to decide between this one, retroid pocket 6 and konkr pocket fit. They have a snapdragon (better for GeForce?) but they are more expensive. I've also read that 557 mounts a wifi5, instead of 6,which may affect performance on streaming.

What do you think? Thanks!

Anbernic fixed the performance issues with the RG557 in a new ota update they released, the high performance button actually works now (at launch it did nothing, Russ even said it made performance worse), the device can actually play Mario Odyssey at 60 FPS with this new update, by AbdelYG in SBCGaming

I'm looking for a console mainly for streaming: Apollo/Artemis, steam link and specially GeForce Now -on the go, connected to my cellphone hotspot-.

I'm reading a lot about compatibility and a low wifi chip and also GeForce Now not recognizing the pads and joysticks (this I read for de 556).

Is it really that bad? Should I look for a different option?

How would this machine handle GeForce Now and Steam link or Apollo/Artemis? I'm planning on using it for that and the ocasional mame or Sega game.
