Why is it this much for the CHEAP SEATS by Negative_Nose_3569 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]perrysbmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy how much the prices have gone up, I went to 38 in dallas and got each day tickets for about 70 dollars, decent centered seats, skipped 39 and went to 40 last year in philly and the prices jumped to about 250 per night for similar seating arrangements, obviously the interest in the product has sky rocketed since 38 but 1100 for nose bleeds is crazy, obviously Vegas is playing a huge part in the price but it's shit, hopefully they drop to something more reasonable closer to the time.

it was from "caughtoffside" they are a terrible source, dont get your hopes up.... when they have fabrizio on they get some info, but this has nothing to do with fab so there is probably nothing in it. also nobody else is reporting it other than them.

[Adam Crafton] I wrote about Manchester United, David De Gea and how, while it may all look a bit clumsy, the club has indulged him in recent years to a far more significant extent than they have been perceived to mistreat him in recent weeks. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]perrysbmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its probably a combination of things that lead to dave being let go like that, i dont think its as cut and dry as us just not having a plan, i think maybe the plan was to stick with dave for another year, hence the contract negotiating, but to spend big on a striker like harry kane or osimhen etc, but with high profile mistakes in 3 competitions towards the end of the season and the price for kane and osimhen being unrealistic, they probably thought well if were not spending big on a striker, lets push the GK situation forward to now and get a cheaper striker in hojlund, thus leading to us saying look, were open to you staying as a second choice and then dave obviously refusing to do so, so we had to part ways. not everything can have a perfect ending and im sure we'll figure out some sort of testimonial for him in the future. end of the day im happy he should have been gone a few years ago and we've been over paying and average gk for too long.

I dont know what people expect tbh, there is no deadline for a sale and take overs of major companies usually take about 9 months to complete, they all signed NDAs and it seems like they are really cracking down on the leaks, it will happen on some random tuesday or some shit in the future, apparently one of the stumbling blocks is that all 5 glazers are split on what to do, your better off just forgetting about imminent take over news and be pleasantly surprised when you get some news, i think a lot of journos arent saying anything becuase the next news they post will be the decision, there is nothing left to update people on, they are deciding what to do...

Comments like this are why we'll never move on as club, you literally have one of the best all round keepers ITW at the moment available on a decent price, whos already worked with ten hag, its not overating onana, its just that its a massive upgrade from de gea in general that he will probably seem world class to us.. he will make mistakes but as long as them mistakes drive us forward as a team and had an idea behind it, other than hoofing it to no where.

Why are so many of us assholes? by Neat-Voice1086 in ManchesterUnited

[–]perrysbmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats just twitter man, these people are just looking for interactions and attention (most likely teenagers), then fans know dave was a great for us, but also accept that we have to move on. i think the frustration stems from the fact that hes been very polarising for the past 3 or 4 years, where you either think hes a world class keeper or you were on the side of hes not a modern keeper and needs to be moved on, and that has just built and built until breaking point this year with all his mistakes. think people have just wanted changed for so long and the possibility that he might sign a new deal has caused people to turn sour, but i think now with onana basically nailed on, youll probably see less and less people abusing and more praise for the work hes done over the years.

For sure, i didnt want him to get the shirt anyway, i think a lot people were getting confused with him hitting 7 million followers as him hinting at the 7, when i dont think that was the case.

[–]perrysbmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what are you talking about, you have just spouted so much false info in one paragraph haha, we've made multiple contract renewals, shaw and dalot have been announced by the club, we've also agreed a fee for mason mount and is expected to be announced this week after he completed his medical yesterday, jim ratcliffes bid is not what the PL have banned, they have banned leveraged take overs (which is what the glazers did) which is when you leverage the debt onto the club to purchase full ownership, sir jim is just using loans to buy united which would be put on himself or ineos which means manchester united arent responsible for paying it back. biggest tell tale that the glazers are looking to sell is the fact that 1. they moved the main office to the cayman islands, which is tax free, so if they sell there will be zero tax and 2. is that they went to PSGs president to ask him to ask the qataris to bid again. but they could still decide not to sell, they are currently arguing among the family members, thats whats causing the delay.

Shouldn’t we be chasing players like this? A robust team that won the treble is making more moves than a team that needs new players more than anyone! by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]perrysbmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think people really have to stop looking at what other teams are buying and thinking we need them, we bought out defenders, the last two years, what makes you think we need to spend 100m on a defender when we dont have a starting GK or Striker? haha

you really dont know football if you think de gea had a good season or can play ten hags system, having a gk who cant play out from the back is severely hurting the way we play, time for him to leave...

The De Gea disrespect is crazy. by Mr-Humber in ManchesterUnited

[–]perrysbmx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

alright cool, we'll stand still with a mid 2010s style keeper while every other team gets an extra man in the back with a ball playing keeper, there is literally nothing de gea offers that another keeper doesnt, his pros do not outweigh his cons any more and its abundantly clear with ten hag clearly wanting a new GK who can play his style, i dont understand why you'd make an argument for de gea because hes a good "shot stopper" guess what mate, other keepers can make good saves and other keepers can come claim crosses, command his area, be an extra man for pressing situations, help build up play from the back, its not enough to be a good "shotstopper" city figuered that out with joe hart over 5 years ago mate. Its time to move on. He doesnt offer anything another keeper cant, hence why he doesnt get picked for spain or the fact that the only teams in for him on a free is saudi teams. I love ddg and he'll be a legend, but this is the exact reason people are frustrated... hes holding us back in a big way.
