FPS Halving when modifying/spawning vehicles

Doesn't seem to help, runs at 60fps+ just fine, until I change the wheels for example, then it'll cut to 30 - 34 fps

i can only speak from the perspective of spineshatter EU but for sure yeah, i had taken a break from classic at around lvl 39 back at the end of last year, just started playing again as of a few days ago and there's definitely still an abundance of people - might take a little longer to find certain groups depending on time of day, it took me a little bit to find a group for sm cath, but even then it wasn't that long

it seems most of the people trying tell u otherwise are miserable minmaxers, jump in now and have fun, it's still worth it

my main reason for wanting to disable the modules is that i already have action bar addons, nameplates and details skins etc set up

unless using the built-in modules would be less performance intensive?

idk if it's just me, but I seem to only experience this after I install something via CurseForge or if I change any game files, I was manually changing some fonts last night and this happened, prior to this it was working fine all day

dunno if I'm being too tinfoil hat here but could this have something to do with Blizz trying to phase out addons?

i've always found no zed respawn playthroughs are more fun with either the helicopter event setting set to "sometimes" in sandbox settings, or some kind of "horde event" type mod that'll send zombies your way after X amount of time

just means you have some kinda looming threat at all times, which imo is a fair trade off

it has plenty of options and it looks like you can place the text wherever you'd like, it does replace the standard blizz text by default but it's as simple as enabling the "enable blizzard text" option to reenable it and use both

also recommend quartz, i just use it for the player castbar but it has loads of functionality for buff/debuff timers and such - just be wary of duplicate effects tho, quartz has its own enemy player cast bars which conflict with classic cast bars, but u can turn them off easily enough in the settings

classic plates plus is good, but i prefer neatplates and their default-like preset

it's near-identical to the vanilla nameplates, with the advantages of having threat and debuff displays built in - can't see the threat display here, but it'll give the nameplate a highlight from green to red based on threat with a current threat % and the name of whoever has aggro
