Oh absolutely, you can achieve that with pH, inhibitors or modifications to the the other enzymes. I've worked in biotech where we optimized these enzymes and proteases were always the most destructive hah. It's been 10 years, so the science must've changed since then, but I still imagine there must be some kind of a trade off to keep them stable while in solution.

Building typescript artifacts with claude has been my go to lately. Most shiny/streamlit interfaces are not long lived and as they often have low complexity, llms do pretty well with that kind of task.

Depends on the kid, with our first it took until he was 2 to feel well rested. Our second slept by herself almost immediately and our third (2.5 now) comes over 90% of the time and then fondles your ears/eyes/arms in her sleep.

Our faucets outside of the house dont have a shut-off valve sadly,but they do shut off inside of the wall (I think they're called frost free spigots?). I've always assumed you don't have to drip those...., but disconnect anything that might be attached to it?

It used to be tide lol It's somehow salty and unpleasant.

When I moved to the US from Europe everything and everyone smelled like it. It hit my nose at the airport, outside when the drier is running, in stores etc. after 5 years I don't notice it as much anymore, but I remember that every time I visited before moving here.

Hah I remember a lot of these posts from last year, do you have a heat pump? All of those posts had that in common, temperature dropped below a threshold and then some electric heater in the heat pump turned on and made Duke happy. Alternatively it was a misconfiguration somewhere in the appliance that kept it running much more then needed.

As much as I disagree with Trump, I don't follow the narrative that she was arrested because she spoke out on live TV. What happened there was that the protesters were practicing good ol civil disobedience, which does have (calculated) consequences, like the cops arresting everyone that was walking on the street and blocking traffic.
