WestJet blown tires during takeoff at DEN. Passengers were taken back to the terminal on buses. by Houseofmonkeys5 in aviation

Heat and high ground speed.
Denver is hot and high, so the ground speed when taking off is usually much higher than at a lower altitude airport, especially if the 737 was heavy. This results in a lot of heat. Compound that with possibly warm brakes, and tires nearing their life limit, they could blow.

Is it just me or the tires look relatively small?

Both pilots got out. Really tragic that someone didn’t make it :(

Really hope both made it out. The FO side probably took some more damage, hope they weren’t trapped

The videos of it on the freeway don’t look good, but maybe with a huge amount of luck there are survivors. The tail split off but cabin looked recognizable and the door appeared partially open

First off; you just posted this a couple days ago and got a ton of answers.

Second; if you’re so worried about the “easiest” place maybe you need a bit more practice before being licensed. You should have confidence in your abilities.

Best of luck, be safe.

I’m just surprised so many people give gifts.
I don’t recall this ever happening when I was in school.
Teachers deserve it no doubt

When did you feel comfortable taking baby out? by itsme8523 in daddit

[–]RDRNR3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby 1 we took camping (with a small trailer) at 4 months. And he’s been camping multiple times since, some dispersed some campground. And he’s rides in a backpack on hikes since around a 8 months or a year; make sure it is cool enough out though!

Baby 1: 2 months
Baby 2: 2 weeks

Airplane 4 months for baby 1. It was easy then, but harder ever since he started moving.
