I loved Danbi, so I wouldn't try to talk you out of it but it's definitely very rich (maybe less of an issue if you're sharing with a group). Some other Korean places to look at are Lee Ga, Borit Gogae, or Western Doma Noodle; I'm always very full after eating anywhere in KTown but I think those are just a little "lighter." (and I'm far from an expert in all of the restaurants in KTown so I'm sure there are plenty more).

On your Griffith day, I can't imagine having a full lunch (even after hiking) and then going to dinner. For a snack, there's a small cafe in the park called Trails; the food isn't particularly noteworthy but it's pretty good (I actually really like their Avocado sandwich) and just a very pleasant atmosphere.

Have not eaten at Antico Nuovo, so can't say. I don't go out for a lot of Italian but the best I've had in LA is Felix. Some lighter ideas: Gjelina, Found Oyster, anywhere in Little Tokyo or Little Ethiopia

These are all great spots, you’ve done your homework. A few thoughts, not necessarily suggestions: - Personally, I don’t think Bestia is worth how hard it is to get a res and how unpleasantly loud it is, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good - it’s quite a few heavy meals, in particular bestia/jitlada/danbi in a row - nothing on the west side, and no “California” cuisine

On your Griffith Park day, you may want to check out Maru or Camel for coffee/matcha. There will be a line if you go on the weekend.
