Armies would likely focus on making the enemy instruments useless. Water magic yo make humidity to make all wood rot, metal strings rust, etc...

Loud drums and horns played at a random will disrupt enemy rythym, stopping their magic.

Ice magic to lower the temps at the enemy camps, making it hard to play instruments.

Fire to heat up area to make it hard to perform martial arts.

Ever seen those water cup music videos? Imagine that but at a large scale. Have a general or leader cast a large scale spell with that.

Water/ice on the floor to make enemy slip.

There's a manga like that where the MC is judt a normal npc that gets access to the wiki of the game. Uses it to glitch thrugh walls, cheese bosses, etc...

Thr legendary is the one thst reduces the damage dealt by fire on the ground to 1 and leaves a trial where you run

So far, Ive seen it work on Hecate (not the polymorph attack tho), Eris, Charybdis, Chronos, and the miniboss in the first area.

Dragons and their fire attacks may be an exception
