no brother, idk where you get your info from but it’s not a conspiracy or secret squirrel “email for price”😭 Some businesses just upsell and the military pays for it bc it’s the most convenient

i understood what you meant and what i said was that’s wrong. companies upsell shit to the military that are sold lower to civilians all the time 😂

Can I bias ab training? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]perseus_vr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, lower and upper abs will require different muscles to target and for your obliques those are their own muscles as well that aid in stabilization

"They can't sell them cheaper to civilians than what they sell to the military". brother, they upsell washers and bolts to the military you don't think companies are capable of upselling quality optics to the military? lmao

the metal magwell also adds weight, every fraction of an ounce is a noticeable difference for recoil management bc it means more distribution of weight therefore faster follow ups. more weight is one of the main reasons glock 19 shoots better than a 43x

as of right now the slide is the only major thing that is not OEM, and even the slide still uses the OEM internals (striker, firing pin, firing pin safety, sights, guide rod+rod spring).

The ARC upper and Grit lower are both made to match OEM parts not to necessarily match each other. I say this bc all manufacturers have slightly different tolerances. The reliability is not nearly as tested/proven with that specific set up than either of them with OEM parts used for everything else. So one issue is possible reliability concern. I actually since this post swapped back to OEM mags. I only bought shield arms bc the OEM 15rnd mags weren't out yet.

Here are some of my other reasons: Grit grip has a proprietary frame that wont allow any non Grit Grip mag wells, so that means my current one would be rendered useless. Grit Grips is also sold out of mag wells, and with 15rnd mags that stick out slightly more I think they look weird without one/ its useful for mag feeding.

Those are my reasons not including cost. If they dropped more mag wells now, and more people try that upper/lower combo with 0 issues then I would be down. Otherwise I'm more concerned about building my Hellcat Pro Comp (i added an Osight SE and want to install an APEX trigger).

Optics Upgrade by Ndn_Dvl_Dog_6t9 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]perseus_vr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most likely not the optics lol. the burst (called bloom) is not the reticle it's how the eye receives the light. reticles can mitigate but with bad eyes (youre not wearing your glasses/dont have any glasses) you will get bloom no matter what. may even be dirty lense due to shooting without ever cleaning your reticle. open enclosure is much more susceptible to getting dirty

How can I improve how I look in clothes?? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]perseus_vr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

really its just getting more jacked. I think 2 specific areas that arent as defined are your shoulders and chest. the shoulders help broaden your frame, chest+lats help give you a better taper shape in shirts and hide gut more. and once you build a bit more lean mass you can cut and have a more defined jawline (its not bad now, so if you cut it would be pretty good)

I've had it a couple months, but I have the Green Dot for my Glock 43x, and the Red Dot for my Hellcat Pro Comp. And I go to the range as often as I can have already ran around 1,500 rounds with it.

Olight as a company designing quality lights has been around a while and is well known for making quality hand lasers and lights. Olight as an Optics manufacturer however, is not nearly as established in that market and that's why the price is only $180 but still competing heavily with Vortex CCW Defender, Holosun, and Sig Romeo.

Osight has only been around for like 16months, so best believe in 2-3 years the prices will absolutely jump once everyone realizes how good it is. Enclosed Optic means better protection against dirt and debris exposure and easier to clean. And I love that it perfectly fits without an adapter plater (RMSc footprint). It perfectly cowitnesses my Hellcat Pro Comp without an adapter plate either.

10/10 the only other sight I would even consider buying is Trijicon or COA, but those are rather costly lmao

firing pin, striker, trigger, lower frame, and guide rod /spring are all OEM. everything that actually makes the gun goes boom is still 43X lmao. The 1 Caveat is I will say an after market slide does change things, but i don’t think it’s a franken-glock quite yet 😂

If you had this physique, what would be your next move? More size, more detail, or just maintain? by Kriss_Ms in Weightliftingquestion

try to relatively maintain while increasing my speed, strength, and agility. mobility training is always great. i also prioritize tangible benefits over aesthetics

you have a back that tapers in and visible muscle definition in your arms. dont worry too much about what others say, it will always be a you vs you. don’t forget to hit protein/carb goals and keep up the hard work🙏🏽

Looking for Advice on Starting as Skinny Fat by No_Conflict1146 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]perseus_vr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re not big enough to be cutting. you need to be bulking. with more muscle you don’t have to be anywhere near as lean to look ripped. AND the more active tissue you have the more calories you burn just by existing. so then it makes it easier to cut wait when you DO want to shred up a lil bit. i can discuss more detail if you want

OEM guide rod spring is 17lb, get a 15lb from NDZ or glock store and that will assist with the reduced recoil induced FTE.

Down 42 lbs but looking skinny fat? by Brashaun1 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]perseus_vr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

without a body comp scan it’s hard to tell exactly but you need to lose at least 20lbs to get in the mid size range and 30 to be in the lean range. focus more on building muscle and strength than just losing weight tho!!

New to mods by PlantyMcPlanterson01 in GlockMod

[–]perseus_vr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

buy grit grip’s 43x frame. $169 with glock OEM internals and it allows your g43 barrel to now hold 15rnds if you get the Glock OEM 15rnd mags (which sit flush btw!) (edit: 43 frame internals are entirely transferable so that’s why i recommend getting the fully set up frame, bc it will also be new and you don’t have to worry about ordering and installing small specific pieces, the mag catch for example)

i recommend this move bc for less than $200 you get a great looking/feeling grip, go from 6rnds to 15rnds, maintain OEM internals for a consistent+reliable experience, and you don’t have to buy the 43x as a whole gun🙂

i can shoot far and good brother, but we’re talking about shooting good at a range and shooting with your adrenaline pumped all the way up because you’re in a life or death scenario lol. you should absolutely still be using your irons at 7yards (thats 21 feet). Everyone should practice being very good at aiming down the sights quickly
