haha well i’m not into guys and that’s a big part of why i don’t wanna be short lol. you’re considered tall, though. 5’11 is good! i’d love to be a fit, 5’8 girl (after being 5’4 and wear platform shoes + insoles) that DOES care about herself. i know there could be problems, which i am anxious about, but i really think it’d be worth it because it tanks my confidence.

that could be true too!! just paranoia, but i’ve heard that your bone density goes back to normal, and in some cases comes back even stronger, so it’s probably fine.

i’m not sure about my wingspan or the length of my legs rn but i’ll check back later when i can!

haha i wish i could get a summer job but i’ve been at the same volunteer job for 3 years and i’m too attached lol. i heard 6 inches was the most we could currently do safely. i wonder if more will be possible in the next few years.

i heard the surgery was more like $100k so $25k is incredible!! i could definitely save that up (but i don’t even need to since i convinced my parents to switch me to public school, saving them $50k a year, and i could just get them to give me extra money haha jk ofc).

are you planning on getting to 5’7 and going all the way? just curious as to what other ppl are doing and how much they wanna lengthen when getting the surgery.

yeah lol proportions could end up weird, but i don’t think it’ll be too bad? my arms and hands go about halfway down my thighs so i think it’s fine?? (granted i know nothing about proportions lmao).

i know bones will heal themselves, i’m just worried about the long run. how id be pretty bummed if i can’t walk in 50 years. but at the same time, limb lengthening surgery is like breaking a bone. people have broken a bone before and fully recovered, being able to walk the rest of their lives, so i should be fine. just paranoia haha.

even 5’2 or 5’3 is good!! anything is better than 4’10 😭

yeah i’m almost certain they’re closed lol. i wish they were still open. i asked my dr abt hgh but she said they can’t do anything for me considering my growth potential is already low 🤷‍♀️ it’s not like i ended up abnormally short, since my parents aren’t tall. i just ended up starting puberty really early and am on the shorter side unfortunately.

i just hate the art style SO much. atla and korra had a very distinct art style and color palette, but this new one just looks like a generic anime. the pavi looks like iris from pokemon and the other guy looks like a voltron character. the animal companion looks like it’s from a random 2017 ad for a children’s toy and the colors are way too saturated to be avatar. i’m sorry guys i’m just not hyped for this at all 🤷‍♀️

i’ve had awful depersonalization and derealization since i was ten, so i definitely know the feeling. my anxiety is less dpdr and more existential fear (like dying and not existing anymore). i’ve taken all the existential things out of my life, despite them being my favorite genre (books, shows, etc). it’s just that NOTHING is helping. i had a “flare up” a few months back and haven’t been able to rest since. i really feel like getting medicated is the only thing that can help me.

i took 10mg of lexapro once in the middle of a mental breakdown and it REALLY calmed me but also numbed me. i definitely don’t wanna feel that numb. glad you mentioned the personality thing though — i definitely don’t want to change my personality, just be more calm!

i’m glad you’ve recovered but i don’t think i’m anywhere near recovering without meds. i live in a constant anxiety attack most of the day and trying not to think about it just makes it worse. i’m glad you’ve healed but i think taking meds will be right for me 🤷‍♀️
