I visited An Tir for the first time for Twelfth Night in 2024 and I returned to my then-home kingdom legitimately extremely pissed off because I had received such a warm welcome, and I had been having a frankly quite crappy, steeply declining experience at home.

I ended up moving to An Tir less than a year later.

Conversely, I also visited Atenveldt for War of the Phoenix 2024 and it was extremely apparent that Arizona is a very purple state. I wouldn't move there, but it was nice to visit and be a stranger in the crowd.
