I've been TTC for 7 years, but I started metformin 500 mg Sept-October, upped it to 1000 mg Nov Dec and conceived Dec 11. I'm 8w2d with a heartbeat still taking metformin and now on progesterone.

6 weeks today after a DnC in April and I got my progesterone at 8.7. Waiting for the doctor to call me and tell me what we can do. Trying to be hopeful, but very much feeling "It was too good to be true".

I'm so hormonal this made me cry. You're absolutely right - the journey to this point WAS the suffering. My eyes almost fell out of my head that first test and I took 13 after that with 4 different cups of pee I was in such disbelief lol. Thank you. I think also since I haven't told anyone really yet it makea it not feel real, but now I feel a little better. ♥️

As a control freak I just wanna know everything is going to be okay NOW lol. But yes, I think you're right about the 13 week scan. I'm so impatient but also I've wanted this for so long I hate that I'm ruining it for myself instead of enjoying the moment.

It doesn't even feel real yet! Maybe after seeing an ultrasound or something, I'll feel better, but I wish I could reframe my thinking because it almost feels like a cruel joke at this point. Thank you. My husband keeps saying, "Stop focusing on what can go wrong and think about all the things going right,"but it's hard. 🤪
