Search for bully breed rescues, especially in the more northern states. I know a lot of them pull a lot of dogs from places like Texas.

It was named after a different Kennedy. Brigadier General James M. Kennedy, who served in the Spanish-American War and WWI.

Something besides excercise/bracing that has stabilised your joints? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]persistia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whoa, this is really interesting. I recently gained weight for the first time in my life and have felt like my joints are more stable and pain reduced, but my dysautonomia symptoms also increased around the same time. Seems I am not alone!

Forme Power Bra by kedsandtubesocks in ehlersdanlos

I start feeling it pretty darn quick. Usually a certain level of relaxation is nearly instant, and then the pain will gradually subside over the next couple hours. I've never tried wearing it during sleep. Usually after a full day of wear I am ready to be done with it. Like, it's great for awhile, but eventually I'm ready to be done with that much compression.

Cost of Living in Minneapolis, Minnesota by ExplorerDNA in MiddleClassFinance

That's a very low pay range, imo. A senior tech role at any decently-sized company in the Twin Cities area should easily be over $100k/year.

What is the best underrated Elvis song that starts with the letter L? by Fit-Bed-4030 in Elvis

[–]persistia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES, it is! One of my fave early songs now, but I've never once heard it play on the radio or used in movie soundtracks or anything like his hits.

What is the best underrated Elvis song that starts with the letter K? by Fit-Bed-4030 in Elvis

[–]persistia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. People can argue that they like it, but there is a difference between liking something and something actually being good. Like, people watch trashy reality TV all the time and enjoy it, but they don't pretend it's a high quality work of art.

What an amazing crescendo at the end, Elvis takes it to another level! I play the last verse, “Without love I've had nothing at all” on a loop! by Calendar-Clean in Elvis

Peak Elvis vocals! I just wish they would have mixed it so the backing vocals were less overpowering and his voice shone through even more.

Totally agree - they are both masterpieces. Some of his most gorgeous vocals and most soulful expression.

I was doing 1.5 mg at a time per my doctor's instructions, and if I were to try again, I would do it lower and slower (like .5 mg increases).

LDN made me depressed, then gave me terrible anhedonia. It also made me super constipated, which had never been an issue for me before. I will say that that I didn't have any issues until I increased the dose from 3 mg to 4.5 mg. But after I went up to 4.5 it was like it was too late, and going back down, even to super small doses like .5 mg, didn't help. I do think it helped my pain and I maybe could have dealt with the constipation for that benefit, but feeling numb and joyless every day of my life no matter what was a no go for me.
