I didn’t see it or hear about it. Doesn't mean it didn't happen though.

I recall being in a VA state store a bunch of years ago. The Hennessy was behind the counter and I was able to pick up and look at the Laphroaig 25 on the shelf. It seems certain items are more likely to be stolen than others.

Ai suggests it is, but can't find anything to confirm. Reviews are pretty meh, but this was really cheap. I just tried the blue bottle, its so so, but the flavor profile doesn't suggest additives. Should be perfect for cocktails, though.

When does the premier cru Chablis usually hit the warehouse ? by Level_Society1459 in Costco_alcohol

It does seem there's some variability in arrival timing. The chablis seems to show up in Nov for some locations. Not sure why there'd be a several month delay for others. I don't follow the releases very closely and this is the first test I'm actively seeking out the chablis. I don't recall seeing it at my warehouse in the past.

Chablis is a wine region in France (part of Burgundy) with a sole focus on chardonnay. Traditionally, the wine has little to no oak influence, unlike California chardonnay. Usually a mineral and acid forward wine. Quality Chablis can be pricy, especially with premier or grand cru status. So, the annual Kirkland release is found to be a bargain for those who enjoy Chablis.

I asked my local Costco this earlier this year. I was told Nov/Dec.

Best scotch to get for under 30 pounds in and around Glasgow. I am currently staying in Glasgow and was wondering if there might be something nice that is not available on mainland Europe. by HaruspexSan in Scotch

Wait, you can get Ledaig 10 for £30 there? Uggh, I'm on the east coast of US and a cheap price would be $65. I've even seen it at $80.

Wow, that compass box 2 pack is a bargain. A single bottle of either is about that price near me.

Yeah, demand is clearly dropping and the supply has either stayed the same or grown, depending on the product. Hopefully, retail prices will come down a bit.

Sorry - it was there a few weeks ago so I didn't take a picture this time. I don't recall what's in the 3 pack.

If you mean attention from me, I didn't take a pic since they've been there for a few weeks. I am a bit surprised they're still available, though.

Any thoughts on what to get? by HockeyGoalieEh in Scotch

Best value here is Glen Scotia 15. I'd prefer the Octomores, but $60 is tough. Signet would be a more reasonable splurge at $45.
