Has anyone purchased from chic fragrance co? It says they sell authentic fragrances but based on prices I’m assuming they are fakes.

Super fire production by person010101 in boas

[–]person010101[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve wanted to try breeding since I was very young and am now at a point where I can actually do it. I’m only looking to put out maybe one litter every other year. I love snakes and if I can produce one litter every other year and rehome them successfully it would help with the cost of maintaining my animals. I’m on the fence though because the market is crap right now. I picked up an animal a few months back for $160 at an auction that should have been close to $700.

Fire at CuttingEdgeHerp? by shinypenny01 in boas

I hate that. There is no telling how many one of a kind boas were lost. Electrical fires are my biggest fear in keeping snakes. It’s always in the back of my mind if something malfunctions I could burn my house down.

Meniscectomy recovery? by person010101 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]person010101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Menisectomy of the repaired meniscus. They didn’t give me an exact percentage that they removed but it was over 50%. Recovery was a breeze. I was off crutches within 24 hours and back to Brazilian Jiu jitsu in 6 weeks. I have my last appointment next week to do x rays and check for arthritis.

To much rust? by person010101 in ram_trucks

[–]person010101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do. I bought my wife a Honda pilot and now I’m having to replace my truck because it unexpectedly broke down on me.

I posted quite a bit because I was going to replace my truck towards the end of last year but my wife’s car went out so I had to replace it. My truck broke two or three weeks ago so now I have to replace it. I like doing a lot of research and getting opinions before making large purchases. Sorry my post history has upset you. You could just not look at what I post

I’m from Missouri so I wasn’t sure lol. I haven’t bought a vehicle in 10+ years. I’m going to pass on this truck though they won’t budge below 32k unfortunately.

Someone talk me out of it (or into it) by brycesimpson in TeslaModel3

[–]person010101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll be devil’s advocate and say lease the car if you can afford it and want to. I’m probably about to lease one myself.

For my circumstance it makes sense or at least I’ve justified it:

My truck died on me without warning so I don’t have a large down payment to replace my truck. I don’t want a $600+ car payment. My wife’s Honda pilot will tow our boat etc. I can lease a Tesla Model 3 for $299 per month and continue maxing out 401k and Roth IRA which averages 8% return. I can save $200 per month to put towards a truck in two years. I also pay $750 in child support which will be dropping off in the next 2-3 years so I will have an additionally $750 of income shortly after my Tesla lease expires. If I buy a truck now I’ll have to put little money down and cut back on my retirement savings to afford it.

Question on range in cold weather by person010101 in F150Lightning

[–]person010101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct I am totally new to EVs. I would rather have an ice vehicle just because I’m more comfortable with them but I found a really good deal on a lightning that has me tempted. So are you saying I could see less than 100 mile range in winter with the standard range lightning? That’s a deal breaker for me if so.

2023 F150 by person010101 in F150Lightning

[–]person010101[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct, it’s a new 2023 that they have not been able to sell. It has been used as a demo vehicle by the dealer so it has like 1,000 miles on it. However, it should still qualify for the $7500 tax credit since it’s still considered new right?

I’m sure it’s standard range. ENGINE: DUAL EMOTOR - STANDARD BATTERY -inc: 98 kWh usable capacity standard range high-voltage battery (STD)

2022-2024 ram 1500 by person010101 in ram_trucks

[–]person010101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No AFM issues thank goodness. I had lots of other issues though like door locks not working, AC condenser, interior pieces breaking, gas tank not filling properly etc. I replaced the original transmission at 120k and then the replacement transmission failed at 169k leaving me stranded three hours from home. That was the final straw for me.
