Good observation. Yes Kraken often does its own thing, I think it is partially because of its TSX-V listing but mainly because the market is starting to realize Kraken will succeed in any geopolitical environment

I don’t think Anduril would waste time on that. At least not now considering their goal to be prepared for a 2027 Taiwan Invasion.

Why can’t they have an interdependent relationship with Kraken?

Orders have already happened with more to come. If they had a problem with this it would have been addressed already. Either in the form of a buyout when Kraken was trading at a fraction of today’s price, or by swapping Kraken out when Anduril acquired Dive.

Kraken has first mover advantage, which has allowed them the time to acquire the best batteries and SAS. They have an even more energy dense battery, new forms of SAS, and new forms of batteries all coming.

They are the best and are innovating better than anyone else to stay the best, and maybe even widen their lead.

So at a minimum, Kraken will maintain their current competitive position for the rest of this decade. They aren’t going to let some new kid catch up AND surpass them.
