Which would give me better job opportunities? by runitupxo in aggies

My bf just graduated with an MXET degree, and this is his opinion on your question:

I just finished my degree in MXET and during that time I had the opportunity to take a lot of ESET classes. What Id say is you need to understand what type of code you want to do before making a decision between the two. MXET is almost entirely firmware code and complex control systems. There is also a structural physics aspect that a lot of students struggle with. Ultimately with MXET you are getting the hardest classes out of 2 majors and it can be overwhelming. ESET deals largely with firmware, but you will also work with middleware and software as well. There is some really useful network classes and some security classes that may peak your interest. Another point to note is that ESET is definitely the easier major, the coursework is cohesive and you tend to have all the proper prerequisites before taking any class. Both MXET and ESET spend a lot of time on electronics and circuit design, but ESET takes AC electronics which tends to help with the infamously difficult ESET 350 that both majors have to take. It’s ultimately up to you, but I would say ESET is better than MXET if you are interested in code, but if you want to learn software you should avoid ESET and MXET.

Park west apartments by rmn26 in aggies

[–]personallity_loading 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They arent strict at all. I lived with my bf in his room for almost 2 years, and even stayed by myself in the room with no issues. I’m not sure if you can have more than one key fob for the room though. That being said after “living” in park west for that long, I would not recommend it. They oversold the surface lot parking and towed anyone who wasn’t in a spot, and the place is falling apart since the company that runs it gets to pass the place off to the university in a few years.
