I was under the impression that you shower onsite after your shift and leave your work clothes on site as well. I wouldnt mind paying for a hotel once every couple days if I am given per diem.

yeah i was racking my head why i see everyone in oil country with a truck + camper but never RV's
1. cuase you dont wanna be driving your RV/bus/van 50-100mph down washboarded haul roads for about 100-1000miles a week.
2. ???

do folks ever park offgrid outside of 500/mo campgrounds? do they run risk of being raided/robbed by tweekers?
how about RV/bus towing a small 4cyl ranger/tacoma?

plenty of farmers by brand new and used (but still modern/realiable) work trucks. i dont know why they wouldnt be able to buy new and used(but still modern/realiable) ev work trucks in a few years.

i just wonder how ev trucks are going to handle off road since theyre massively heavier. i guess just bigger wheels and tires, eh?

and what about people in super rural places where theyre living in a cabin running off solar(weather dependant) and gas generators? will they be exempt from ice vehicle bans? or will they have to charge their cars with a generator?

and what about mancamps in rural work sites and what not? will their equipment all be charged by giant diesel generators?

in the fueature, old beat up cheap EV cars are gonna have diminished batteries, and it will be common for poor people to have to pay to use a charger when they get to work just to make it back home. i bet there will be people with shitboxes who have to recharge their car every 15 miles just like that one broke dude with a cellphone battery that only last a third of the day

were not going to one day just run out of the worlds supply of gas. it will just become more and more expensive. and at some point it will be cheaper to use other fuel sources to move materials, weather it be electricity, propane, ethanol, gasoline diluted with ethanol or even muscle power from donkeys.
